Hesbjerg is a community located west of Odense, right next to Hesbjerg Forest. The place embodies a social community, beautiful and ancient nature, musicians, artists, and creative individuals. Hesbjerg is a self-built village of small houses, with many initially starting as trailers and later expanded. Its roots trace back to the 1970s when the then-owner of Hesbjerg Castle, Jørgen Laursen Vig, allowed an alternative village to emerge.
